Gudroots Brand Identity
Back to traditional ways: visual identity, logo and packaging design.
Visual identity, logo and packaging design for Gudroots, a brand whose line is “Back to Traditional Ways”.
Gudroots sells freshly ground, whole-grain atta made the traditional way, on stone. The identity needed to carry that story at a glance: warm, natural and honest, with the craft of the grindstone front and center.

The brand essence draws on grain, stone and the family table: the grinding stone, flour and wheat, rotis made at home and meals shared. Photography stays warm and natural to match.

The palette comes straight from the pantry. Wheat amber leads, with orange, cream and grain brown, and deep green and lime green borrowed from pulses and produce. Each color doubles as a product cue, with an ingredient pictured on its swatch.

The logo is a rounded, grain-shaped badge with the Gudroots wordmark inside, set in friendly, chunky lettering. A grain plus the wordmark gives the badge, which sits beside the line “Back to Traditional Ways” and works on its own as a compact seal.

The system stretches from stationery and tote bags to a website, always leaving generous white space around the amber.

On Instagram, soft cream panels and food photography alternate with short facts: “Early morning breakfast”, “Traditional stone grinding” and “Did you know?”.

The pack is a pouch in white with a flowing amber wave, so the flour itself feels light and fresh. Variants such as Sharbati Wheat Atta and MP Sehori Wheat Atta share one layout and change only in name and ingredient detail. The flat dieline shows the full wrap, with “Freshly Ground Atta” running vertically and the nutrition information on the back.
